Arise AB (publ) enters into an option agreement with the right to acquire Enviksberget a project of approx. 35 MW

Today, Arise AB (publ) has entered into an option agreement with Dala Vind with the right to acquire Enviksberget, a project of approx. 35 MW (the ”Project”).

All permits relating to the Project have gained legal force and the grid connection is secured. Arise will now finalise the development of the Project with the intent to sell it on to an investor during 2018. The purchase price will become payable if and when Arise finally acquires the Project.

The Project is located in the proximity of the Svartnäs wind farm that Arise currently is constructing on behalf of BlackRock. The installed effect of the Project is estimated to approx. 35 MW.

Securing the right to acquire Enviksberget is in line with Arise’s strategy to acquire and develop attractive wind projects for on-sale to external investors.

”We are happy to have secured the project rights to Enviksberget. We hope to be able to sell it on to an investor during 2018. We are pleased to have made our first transaction with Dala Vind and look forward to a good cooperation when realizing the Project”, says Daniel Johansson, CEO, Arise.

About the Author: Carrie Brunner

Carrie Brunner grew up in a small town in northern New Brunswick. She studied chemistry in college, graduated, and married her husband one month later. They were then blessed with two baby boys within the first four years of marriage. Having babies gave their family a desire to return to the old paths – to nourish their family with traditional, homegrown foods; rid their home of toxic chemicals and petroleum products; and give their boys a chance to know a simple, sustainable way of life. They are currently building a homestead from scratch on two little acres in central Texas. There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children. Carrie writes mostly on provincial stories.
