Afficient Academy, Inc. announced today that it has been awarded a U.S. patent for the company’s intelligent computerized adaptive learning methodology. The patent No. 9,818,306, issued on November 14, 2017 and titled “System and Method for Assessing Learning or Training Progress,” is on Afficient Academy’s methodology that automatically analyzes user’s learning and practice data, identifies user’s weak areas, determines the score user reached, then generates the most appropriate assignments for user to master the skills and achieve his/her goal efficiently.

Afficient Academy utilizes the intelligent computerized program together with teacher supervision to make learning highly efficient and achieve excellent outcome. With Afficient Math, which is Afficient Academy’s computerized math program for K-12 students, most students at our learning centers are able to complete one grade level in 2-3 months. Through our programs, students are learning more effectively and achieve better results with less time, thus leaving more time for them to pursue other interesting activities.
Based on the success achieved at the corporate learning center at San Jose CA, the company has recently opened two corporate learning centers this year, and plans to open two additional learning centers by the end of this year. Having been approved for franchising in California, Afficient Academy is looking forward to growing its business through openings of both the corporate and franchise learning centers.
Besides K-12 math program, Afficient Methodology has also been applied to Afficient Academy’s test preparation products for U.S. private middle and high school entrance examinations (ISEE and SSAT) and to other K-12 course subjects.
