[2017 Global Power Brand Award] HELIKOREA, Emergency Medical Service Helicopter Standby for 24 hours

HELIKOREA Co., Ltd., the biggest helicopter transport company with 28 fleets in Korea. Since its foundation in 1996, it has been operating business with the government at various fields including the fire-fighting, the construction of the Antarctic research bases, the transportation of petroleum drilling rigs and gas fields of the Korean National Oil Corporation. Overseas business includes the fire-fighting with Chinese government.

Recently, the company is putting all effort in the Emergency Medical Service Helicopter(EMS) business. After being selected as an emergency medical service helicopter operator in Incheon, Mokpo in 2016 and Wonju, Andong in 2017, a dedicated team is on standby 24 hours to make sure that emergency helicopter missions are not disrupted on national requirements. The total numbers of emergency patients are rushed more than 458 times in this year. In addition, during the upcoming PyeongChang Winter Olympics, HELIKOREA becomes an official partner for the successful Winter Olympics.
