2024 Order of New Brunswick nominations can now be made with members of the public able to make submission until April 1.
Any Canadian citizen who is a present or former long-term resident of the province is eligible for nomination for the Order of New Brunswick.
Nominations can be made until April 1, 2024, before new members are officially invested during the fall as with the 2023 inductees.
“We are so fortunate to have role models from all walks of life who bring people together, promote inclusion and diversity, and drive innovation in New Brunswick,” said Lt.-Gov. Brenda Murphy.
“Through their hard work, compassion and kindness, these remarkable individuals strive for excellence and inspire us to make a difference in our communities.
“I encourage New Brunswickers to highlight the efforts of changemakers by nominating them for the Order of New Brunswick.”
Premier Blaine Higgs added: “One of many things that makes our province so unique is the true leaders who have made – and continue to make – New Brunswick a place of excellence, opportunity and supportive communities.
“I am inviting New Brunswickers to underline the achievements of these exceptional leaders from various fields by nominating them to receive our province’s highest civilian honour.”

What is the Order of New Brunswick?
Established in 2000, the Order of New Brunswick is the province’s highest honour.
It is designed to celebrate New Brunswickers who have made significant contributions to the economic, cultural or social well-being of the province. Since its inception, more than 200 people have been recognized.
