Press Release updated: Oct 27, 2017 13:41 EDT

In pursuit of its mission to impact 100,000 lives by 2020, Winmo, a division of List Partners Inc., has partnered with 48in48, the Atlanta-based nonprofit that connects charitable organizations with marketing and technology talent to grow awareness for local and national causes.

For nonprofits, marketing tools like websites are essential to connecting volunteers and donors in a more effective way, driving participation, support, awareness and fundraising. 48in48 seeks highly skilled marketers to tell the story of each nonprofit via the digital space and ultimately elevate the effectiveness of each nonprofit’s mission. Through their weekend-long, hackathon type events, 48 nonprofits receive new, professional websites and marketing strategies that allow them to grow and do good in their local communities.

Leveraging an unparalleled knowledge of the marketing and technology landscape, Winmo’s partnership will help 48in48 recruit agency professionals willing to donate their time and expertise to participate in these events.

We’re thrilled that 48in48 is using Winmo to find the right nonprofits to partner with, and the appropriate agency talent to support their cause. This partnership truly enables nonprofits to get back to doing what they do best – serving the local community.

Jennifer Groese, VP of Marketing

48in48’s Impact

Currently working in cities like Boston, Minneapolis, Atlanta and New York, 48in48 has significantly impacted multiple non-profits, donating over $6 million of digital services in 2017, and $12 million since 2015. By the end of 2017, 48in48 will have built 528 websites and aided over 350 non-profits.

With plans to grow into 48 cities by 2025 and expand outside of the United States into a global effort, it was time to seek out a corporate partner that could help get top-notch industry talent involved.

“We work with agencies and nonprofits every day, so for us, it was a no-brainer to partner with 48in48,” said Jennifer Groese, VP of Marketing at List Partners. “We’re thrilled their team is using Winmo to find the right non-profits to partner with, and the appropriate agency talent to support their cause. This partnership truly enables non-profits to get back to doing what they do best – serving the local community.”

In good company, Winmo will be sponsors alongside Delta, Coca-Cola, Dunkin Donuts, Modo, and Friendly Human.

Leveraging Winmo’s Sales Intelligence

Having used Winmo’s sales platform in previous business development roles, Ethan Parish, Development and Special Events Manager quickly sought out Winmo to join 48in48 in their journey to reach 48 cities by 2025. Leveraging Winmo’s database of over 8,500 agencies, Ethan and his team have been able to effectively target the industry professionals needed to support their aggressive growth goals.

“When I joined 48in48 they didn’t have an official process for finding companies or agencies that would fit our sponsorship and volunteer roles. I reached out to Winmo and by using the platform we’ve been able to target sponsors and volunteers strategically, as opposed to just blind outreach. I’ve been able to consistently find the direct person I need to reach out to at the exact companies we’re looking to work with.”

About 48in48

The idea of 48in48 was provoked when founders, Jeff Hilimire and Adam Walker recognized that nonprofits spend all of their time doing good, not looking good and imagined how much more they could do if they looked good as well. The need for organizations to have a digital footprint continues to skyrocket. For nonprofits, marketing tools, like websites, help them connect with volunteers and donors in a more effective way, driving participation, support, awareness and fundraising. 48in48 seeks highly skilled marketers to tell the story of each nonprofit via the digital space and ultimately elevate the effectiveness of each nonprofit’s mission.
