Education reformer Manisha Shelley Kaura decided to counteract the growing decline of vocabulary knowledge among school kids, after reading the report released on the sorry state of affairs in this regard by the US Education Department. Along with her father, she started to research about the real causes behind the issue. She found that the real reason for this continuous downfall was the lack of proper root-words knowledge. So to help kids understand and memorize vocabulary in hassle-free manner, this father-daughter duo built a well-structured English vocabulary program.

A Xavier University, Cincinnati alumnus Manisha believes, “singing and dancing is a whole mind/body experience, also students are more interested in learning through music and songs other than monotonous classroom activities.”

“Therefore, while preparing our Vocab Tunes’ programs we focused on making it a melodious learning activity,” said Manisha.
