Artificial Intelligence Changes the Digital Workplace

Press Release updated: Oct 30, 2017 10:59 EDT

In what is believed to be a world first, Microsoft Gold Partner ICS Solutions recently announced the launch of their latest revolutionary AI One Stop Bot™, the FLEX Concierge. Built from Microsoft’s Azure technology, and described as the ‘Alexa for business’, the FLEX Concierge has been designed with the future in mind. Able to interact with any number of bots on the user’s behalf, the FLEX Concierge provides a one-stop experience, automating AI technology to deliver streamlined, intuitive self-service. The FLEX Concierge and the exclusive FLEX AI product line-up will be unveiled at Microsoft’s annual Future Decoded Expo.

Martin Neale, CEO at ICS Solutions explains, “With the implementation of AI bots set to increase from 350 million to 1.8 billion users over the next three years, it becomes incredibly important to be able to deliver a bot experience that promotes ease-of-use and avoids cluttered digital workplaces. This is how we designed FLEX Concierge.”

Martin continues, “Imagine walking into any workplace and seeing 20 different reception desks, how do you know which one to use? It’s the same problem with emerging AI technology, without so many different bots providing so many different uses, slowly the digital workplace starts moving away how it should be, intuitive and easy-to-use. What the FLEX Concierge does is effectively provide a one-stop location from which all bots can be accessed easily. Through simple conversation user interface (CUI) with the FLEX Concierge, you will be passed to the correct bot without the time spent finding it on your own.”

The FLEX Concierge is found within all of FLEX AI’s product line-up, which includes a range of AI digital workplace solutions, offering long sought-after answers to age-old user adoption concerns. Martin continues, “Within most functioning organisations around the world, workforces are given access to tools which within the correct hands can lead to extraordinary application in the workplace. But so often the tools provided aren’t accessible to users without in-depth training. Digital hubs including Office 365 and Teams both possess near limitless collaboration potential and yet without automation or assistance, are left woefully underused. This is what FLEX AI will change.”

FLEX AI can be utilised in three unique configurations, with each package equipped with automated AI assistants focused on ending user adoption concerns. FLEX Office 365/Teams User Adoption targets user adoption with two of Microsoft’s most vital digital hubs. FLEX Office 365/Teams User Adoption equips every user with an AI chatbot, the FLEX Concierge, who arrives pre-built and trained in every aspect of O365 and Teams, allowing users to simply ask their chatbot which tools within the hub best suit the project at hand, and how to implement it. This eliminates the previous necessity of expending resources training entire workforces on software they are unfamiliar with.

Embedded governance in each of FLEX AI’s packages also provides secure, regulated productivity in the workplace, removing the IT anxiety that previously was inseparable with massive workloads. The same innovation can be seen within FLEX Intelligent Digital Workplace (IDW), an AI intranet solution which applies FLEX’s AI chatbots to an Office 365-powered intranet. Providing intuitive design, boundless application and AI assistance to create an intelligent digital workplace of the future.

Martin Neale explains, “Recognising that AI will soon dominate entire industries was key to developing not just AI chatbots of our own, but also the tools for others to create a catalogue of bots which can provide employee and customer services”. The FLEX Enterprise AI Accelerator provides organisations with the tools needed to develop bots based on their employee/customer needs. Arriving in three offerings with Customer Services AI and Employee Services AI providing a rapid, comprehensive AI platform from which to deliver bots to both customers and employees respectively. The Technology Selection Accelerator helps organisations to understand Microsoft’s AI technology, whilst engaging stakeholders with a compelling POC and supplying the ability to trail one or more foundation chatbots for up to 30 days.

Martin concludes, “With FLEX AI and the FLEX Concierge, we’ve created the ability to unlock the digital workplace of the tomorrow, today. We’re looking forward to Future Decoded where we can share what we’ve been developing for so long, and hope everyone shares our excitement for the future of AI technology.”

There’s a lot to be done to become somewhat self-sufficient, but they are debt-free and get to spend their days living this simple, good life together with their five young children.
