Michael Meyer Celebrates Many Years of Professional Experience in His Field

    ATLANTA, GA, December 08, 2017 — Michael Meyer has been included in Marquis Who's Who. Backed by many years of industry experience, Dr. Meyer works as a senior adviser for WSP, which was formerly known as Parsons Brinckerhoff, Inc. Earlier in his career, he worked for MIT as a professor in the department of civil engineering, and as a director of transportation planning and development for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. Subsequently, he joined the Georgia Institute of Technology in the roles of director as well as professor of civil and environmental engineering.

A graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison, Northwestern University, and MIT, Dr. Meyer holds a Bachelor of Science, Master of Science, and PhD in Civil Engineering. In order to remain active and engaged among his professional circles, he affiliates himself with the American Society of Civil Engineers, where he became a fellow in 2010. Throughout his career, he has contributed his vast array of knowledge to such creative works as “Urban Transportation Planning: A Decision Oriented Approach.”

An expert in his field, Dr. Meyer has earned numerous awards for his professional accomplishments, including the Harland Bartholomew Award and the Theodore M. Matson Memorial Award. In the near future, Dr. Meyer hopes to experience the upward movement of his career.
